4. Integration of Google Fonts
We use the offerings of Google Fonts on this website. The larger selection of fonts allows us to offer you a visually appealing website.
For additional information about the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by the plug-in provider, please refer to the provider’s data protection declarations. There you will also find additional information about your rights and setting options to protect your privacy: http://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy. With your consent you can subscribe to our newsletter, which we use to inform you about our current interesting offerings. The advertised goods and/or services are named in the declaration of consent.
We use the so-called double opt-in procedure for the registration to our newsletter. This means that after your registration, we will send an e-mail to the specified e-mail address in which we ask you to confirm that you would like the newsletter to be sent. If you do not confirm your registration within 24 hours, your information will be blocked and automatically deleted after one month. In addition, we store your used IP addresses and the time of registration and confirmation. The purpose of the procedure is to be able to prove your registration and, if necessary, to clarify a possible misuse of your personal data.
The only mandatory information for sending the newsletter is your e-mail address. The indication of additional, separately marked data is voluntary and is used to be able to address you personally. After your confirmation we will save your data for the purpose of sending you the newsletter. The legal basis for this is art. 6 (1) (1) a) GDPR.
You can revoke your consent to receive the newsletter at any time and unsubscribe from the newsletter. You can cancel your subscription by clicking on the link provided in every newsletter e-mail, by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org, or by sending a message to the contact details specified in the imprint.
Please note that we analyze your user behavior when sending the newsletter. For the analysis, the e-mails we send contain so-called web beacons, also called tracking pixels, which are single-pixel image files that are saved on our website. For the analysis, we link the data specified in section 3 and the web beacon with your e-mail address and an individual ID. The data is collected in strictly pseudonymous form. Thus, the IDs are not linked to your other personal data so any direct reference to your person can be excluded.
You may object to this tracking at any time by clicking on the separate link provided in each e-mail or by contacting us in any other way. The information will be saved as long as you are subscribed to the newsletter. If you unsubscribe, we will only store the data statistically and anonymously.
6. Web Analytics
Use of Google Analytics
Google will not associate the IP address transmitted by your browser with any other data held by Google.
You may prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate setting in your browser software. However, we advise that if you do this, you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent the data generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) being sent to Google as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
This website uses Google Analytics with the “_anonymizeIp()” extension. This means that IP addresses are truncated before being processed and so cannot be associated with any individual person. In the event of a personal association to you of any data collected, such association shall be excluded without delay and the personal data shall be deleted immediately.
We use Google Analytics to analyze and regularly enhance the use of our website. The resulting statistics allow us to improve our offerings and make them more interesting for you, the user. For the exceptions where personal data is transmitted to the USA, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is art. 6 (1) (1) f) GDPR.
This website also uses Google Analytics for cross-device analysis of visitor traffic conducted using a user ID. You can deactivate cross-device analysis in your Google account under “My Data,” “Personal Data.”
7. Integration of Google Maps
We use the offerings of Google Maps on this website. This allows us to show you interactive maps directly on our website and enables the convenient use of the maps function.
For additional information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by the plug-in provider, please refer to the provider’s data protection declarations. There you will also find additional information about your rights and setting options to protect your privacy: http://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy. Google also processes your personal data in the USA and has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.
8. Online advertising
DoubleClick by Google
Based on the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. We have no influence over the scope and the further use of data that is collected by Google by using this tool and we therefore inform you according to our information status: By incorporating DoubleClick, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding part of our website or clicked on one of our advertisements. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can associate the visit with your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or you have not logged in, the provider may come to know and store your IP address.
You can prevent your participation in this tracking process in different ways: a) by setting your browser software accordingly, in particular rejecting third party cookies means that you will not receive any advertisements from third-party providers; b) by disabling interest-related advertisements at Google via http://www.google.com/ads/preferences, whereby this setting is deleted when you delete your cookies; c) by disabling the interest-related advertisements from the providers who are part of the self-regulated “About Ads” campaign via http://www.aboutads.info/choices, whereby this setting is deleted when you delete your cookies; d) by permanently disabling ad personalization in your Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Google Chrome browsers via http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. Please note that, in this case, you may not be able to use all functions of this website.
9. Web analytics service
When you access a Facebook page, your personal data is also processed outside of the European Economic Area. This may make the enforcement of user rights more difficult. Facebook has voluntarily made itself subject to the EU-US Privacy Shield and undertaken to guarantee certain user rights: https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.
You can find further information on Facebook’s data processing procedures, as well as the option to opt out of advertising, on the following pages:
The processing of data on Facebook pages is also carried out on the basis of an agreement on the joint processing of personal data concluded between ourselves and Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms/page_controller_addendum).
We recommend you issue requests for information and exercise your user rights in direct relation to Facebook, as only Facebook has access to user data and is therefore able to take measures and share information. Your right to contact us directly is unaffected.
